Kiryana Shop

Hamsiran, 40, lives with her husband and four children in Hussanka village, Gurugram, Pataudi. Her husband is a carpenter and the main income earner for the family. To support his father and contribute to the family income, his son decided to start his own venture. His elder son Akram, who had a diploma in computer applications, decided to start a computer shop. Hammiran and Akram approached Dhanrashi and took a loan of INR 5,000 for the venture. With this loan, Akram bought used computer and other equipment for the job works shop. Now Hansiran's family earns an additional income of Rs 500-800 a day from both shops. He is happy that both of his children are inhabited with their own ventures and generate a fixed income.

Fruit Shop

Sunil, 34, lives in Hailymandi, Gurugram with an old father and mother and his wife and 2 children. His father owns a cart eating fruit and vegetables and is the main income earner for the family. To support his old father and contribute to the family income, he decided to start a fruit and vegetable shop.Sunil approached the Dhanrashi and took a loan of INR 5,000 for the fruit and vegetable shop started. With this loan, Now both Sunil and his father earn an additional income of Rs 600-800 a day

Pottery

Born in Patodi Haryana, Pinki Devi was deprived of childhood due to financial constraints. Her financial strait stood like a wall between her and her dreams. Despite her fondness for studies, she had to stay away from education, which twisted her most cherished dream. She does not wish her children to share her luck as she wanted them to have as bright a future as every parent aspires for the best future for their children. In the nascent stage of their business, they made recurrent purchases for raw material in every few days as it was reliant on the income from daily sales which in turn increased their outlay. This led to an increase in the supply of the number of pots, leading to 20% business growth. Today, she earns approximately ₹ 15,000 – ₹ 20,000 per month by selling each pot at ₹ 5. Pinki has gained back her confidence and is ready to take next step by expanding her business further.

Vegetable Vendor

Parveen aged 46 lives in Khokar colony, Jhunjhunu in state of Rajasthan. She is married to Jamil who currently doesn’t keep well and cannot go out for work. Parveen is doing the business of vegetable vending and earns livelihood for the family and she is helped by her eldest son who could not complete his studies since he had a burden of earning for the family at a small age since the father’s earning was not sufficient to take care of the entire family. They are able to earn a decent amount and are trying to save enough to make other 3 children in the house study well. Parveen & her family’s life had been very difficult since her husband could not earn much from the daily labour to take care of all members of family and hence the eldest son had to join him at an early age. Around 2 years back, there was a big setback for the family when Parveen’s husband Jamil fell ill and was advised by doctor to not get into any physical work and the survival really became tough.

Bakery Shop

34-year-old Shalini Verma lives with her family in Yamuna Nagar. She wanted to support her husband and contribute to the family income. Shalini contacted the employee of Dhanrashi in Yamunanagar (Jagadhri) and inquired about the loan facility being provided and took a loan of Rs.10000/-. She used this money and put in her husband's bakery. Previously, he was only able to buy very basic raw materials for making the bakery items which heavily depended on income from daily sales which increased his outlay. Imtiaz Saifi lives with his family in Parvatiya Colony, Faridabad. Imtiaz runs a cricket academy for the orphan children, so that the orphan children remain interested in sports. Grocery Store

Bharat Kumar lives in Garkha district with his family to earn a living. Someone in the neighbourhood told Bharat about the loan facility being provided by Dhanrashi. He runs a grocery store and supports his family. Initially, Bharat Kumar enrolled himself as a member taking a loan of Rs.5000. From there he didn't look back! He planned to expand his business and so he requested an additional loan of 10000 rupees from the Dhanrashi loan officer so that he can expand his Kirana store further.
